Reshaping enterprise architecture in the age of AI

I am Vu Minh Tung (Steve VU) – Senior Enterprise Architect at one of Vietnam’s leading financial institutions.

Before my current role, my professional journey was shaped across several senior leadership and advisory positions at respected technology organizations: former Cloud & Data Director at CMC Global, former Senior Consultant at FPT USA, and former CEO of T2 Techhub. For over a decade, I have had the privilege of working directly on enterprise-scale digital transformation programs, both in Vietnam and abroad. It is a demanding, real-world environment — where business strategy, system architecture, data infrastructure and core technology must converge to create genuine value for the organization.

I once shared and distilled this journey at the former xvalley.top – where in-depth perspectives on digital transformation began. But through practice, from the vantage point of someone who architects and operates large-scale systems, I witnessed a recurring reality: most transformation initiatives of the previous wave struggled to move beyond experimentation. Many projects stalled at costly pilots, ran slowly, and hit major barriers when trying to scale. The bottleneck was never ambition — it was the long-term feasibility of the architecture.

Today, the remarkable maturity of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is redefining how we design systems. AI is no longer a passing trend; it has become a core catalyst. It optimizes complex operational problems once deemed infeasible, turning them into practical solutions that are markedly more effective.

That is why xValley needed a decisive evolution. I chose to move and upgrade the entire former platform into DXA Consulting, at its new address https://www.dxa.io.vn. This is not only a place to share large-scale systems-architecture thinking, but also a strategic advisory practice — working alongside enterprises to apply the AI wave to their operations in the field, safely and with optimized performance.

“Digital transformation is the backbone; AI, Data and Cloud are the tools to realize it. If the previous wave struggled with feasibility, AI is the key that activates the capacity to execute — helping enterprises optimize operations and create a clear competitive advantage.”

At DXA Consulting, I choose to work alongside businesses on three core architectural principles:

1

Holistic architecture

Ensuring safety and scalability.

2

Real value

Eliminating purely cosmetic projects.

3

Capability transfer

So your internal team fully owns the new system.

To me, the philosophy of a technology architect is not about drawing ever more complex models, but about finding simplicity and feasibility within the hardest problems. AI is opening an equal opportunity for every organization — but the winners will be those who embed AI deep into the operating core, turning technology into durable, battle-tested capability.

This new space exists for us to reshape that mindset together. If your business is also looking for a feasible architectural roadmap to harness the power of AI, let’s connect and discuss the most practical solutions.
